There’s something extra special about photographing parents who are right on the edge of meeting their baby — and Jocelyne and her husband were exactly that. At 36 weeks pregnant, they came into the studio glowing with anticipation, love, and that quiet excitement that fills the room when a life-changing moment is so close.

Jocelyne was honestly surprised by how much she fell in love with the white gown — and I get it. This is always my gentle reminder to expecting mamas: try the gowns. Hanging on the rack, they can look like endless fabric… but once they’re on your body, adjusted to you, they transform. These gowns are designed to celebrate your shape, your strength, and this season of becoming. And Jocelyne? She absolutely embodied goddess energy. Effortless. Ethereal. Powerful.

We started with the soft, flowing white gown and every movement felt intentional and natural. Her husband couldn’t take his eyes off her — the way he held her, supported her, and fell in love all over again right in front of my camera was pure magic. They moved together in perfect rhythm, completely connected, completely present.

We finished the session with one of everyone’s favourites — the deep, rusty, fluffy gown. Dramatic, rich, and full of texture, it brought such a bold contrast while still feeling warm and intimate. Jocelyne owned it. Strong, radiant, and glowing with confidence as she prepared to meet her baby.

This session was such an honour to capture. Jocelyne, thank you for trusting me with such a meaningful moment in your journey. I am so grateful to have been part of this chapter, and I truly cannot wait to meet your beautiful baby soon
