Golden Hour, Wildflowers & a Whole Lot of Love
Maddie has been with me from the very beginning — a longtime client who now feels like family here at Vesta’s Photography. I’ve had the absolute privilege of capturing all three of her pregnancies, two precious newborns (soon to be three!), and their growing family in between. From cake smashes to snuggly studio sessions, her motherhood journey has unfolded in front of my lens, and it’s been nothing short of magical.
Each of her maternity sessions has told its own story:
Her first was cozy and intimate in my studio, featuring my bedroom set — soft light, sweet quiet moments, and that beautiful newness of stepping into motherhood for the first time.
The second session stayed in-studio, focusing more on clean, classic portraits, highlighting her growing confidence and glow.
For this third pregnancy, I encouraged her to go outdoors — to step into nature and let this chapter be wild, earthy, and free. Each session is different, yet they all hold the same heartbeat: connection, love, and honoring her incredible strength.
So off we went to Tucker House, a dreamy heritage property full of character and beauty. Every corner of that space — from the tall, whispering trees to the glowing fields and the rustic charm of the barn — gave us something special. We used each backdrop to bring out a different layer of Maddie’s spirit.
In the wild garden, she and her partner shared a quiet, tender moment wrapped in deep greens and warm sunset light.
Then, we found her surrounded by blooming flowers, sitting confidently in denim and lace — strong, grounded, and totally radiant.
As the sun dipped behind the trees, Maddie stepped into one of our boldest gowns — a rich burgundy number that caught every ray of light — and gave us the most breathtaking golden hour silhouette.
Each image from this session carries a different energy — some soft and quiet, some bold and glowing — but together they tell one beautiful, cohesive story. Maddie’s story. And I am beyond honored to be the one documenting it.
