From Bump to Baby: Welcoming Sweet Raphael


There are some sessions that just glow with joy from start to finish — and celebrating Anne-Sophie and Philippe's journey into parenthood was exactly that kind of experience.


We first connected for their maternity session, and it was truly a dream. The day started with gown selections and backdrop styling, and Anne-Sophie got pampered with hair and makeup, setting the tone for a luxurious and calm experience. As we chatted and laughed through the session, I could already feel the deep bond these two share — not just with each other, but with their little one on the way. We created images that were not only beautiful but filled with emotion and intention. It was clear even then: their baby was already so loved.


But today’s post is all about baby Raphael — the sweet little soul who made their love story grow.


From the moment they walked into the studio for their newborn session, there was such a peaceful, loving energy in the air. We started with family poses, and oh my heart — baby Raphael snuck in the cutest little smirks (yes, one of those magic moments made it into the sneak peeks below!). The connection between this new family of three was just undeniable.


We moved on to parent portraits, capturing the quiet awe of mom and dad soaking in their little miracle. Then we got creative with props: a dreamy bed setup, a moon bowl (because every baby deserves their celestial moment 🌙), and the softest flokati wraps. But I have to say... the table poses were my absolute favorite — timeless, serene, and full of gentle strength.


Raphael was a joy to work with — wide-eyed and curious at times, but always calm and relaxed, trusting the world around him. His presence was pure peace.


Watching Anne-Sophie and Philippe step into their roles as parents with such grace and love was incredibly moving. It’s an honour to capture these early memories — the kind that will be cherished for generations.
