A Celebration of Strength, Love, and New Beginnings


I was beyond excited to welcome Andy and her mother into the studio with baby Noah. Andy is a true superhero in our community, dedicating her career to helping newborns thrive in the hospital. Her passion for caring for little ones extends beyond her work—she was determined to become a mother herself. And why not? Women are strong, capable, and fiercely determined. We balance careers, chase dreams, and nurture our families, proving time and time again that we can do it all.


Andy’s journey into motherhood is a testament to the power of perseverance and love. She walked into the studio glowing with pride, ready to celebrate this new chapter with her beautiful baby boy.


For Noah’s newborn session, we designed a set inspired by Andy’s vision. She brought the most adorable little yellow bear jacket, and even though it was a bit big on him, I made it work with the help of my incredible assistant, Katryna. Noah was an absolute dream to work with—so calm and content, though he did love keeping a tight grip on his thumb!


Of course, no newborn session is complete without a few snack breaks… and plenty of diaper changes! Noah made sure to keep us on our toes with multiple surprise moments, including two mid-session accidents while snuggled in Mom’s arms! Thankfully, I put the diaper on just in time for him to have his portraits with Grandma before the big one—crisis averted!


The session focused mostly on prop-based setups, featuring a cozy wrapped setup and a stunning yellow swing set that perfectly complemented his little bear outfit. Andy also requested micro shots—one of my personal favorite styles to capture. There’s something so magical about those tiny fingers, delicate eyelashes, and perfect little toes that freeze these fleeting newborn moments in time.
