I was so excited when I saw on IG that Emma and Sean welcomed their baby girl into the world. I had already connected with them both during their maternity session, so when it came time to celebrate their daughter during her newborn session, I was beyond thrilled.
This time, we brought the studio to Emma with my mobile setup, creating that cozy, professional experience right in the comfort of her home. The focus of the session was newborn posing, which is one of my favorite ways to capture those tiny details—perfect little fingers, button nose, and all the soft curls of new life.
What made this session even more special was that Sean had a few requests ahead of time. He wanted to make sure we included his cowboy boots and their daughter’s brand-new bright pink Carhartt beanie. You know I had to comply! Adding those personal touches gives each session a unique story, and I loved weaving in those pieces of their world.
Baby Elanor was an absolute dream to photograph. She gave us the perfect mix of wide-eyed curiosity and those sweet, sleepy newborn moments every parent cherishes. Watching Emma with her daughter was so tender—her quiet joy and the way she looked at Elanor melted my heart.
