A Magical Day Celebrating Emma & Sean’s Journey into Parenthood



Over the weekend, we had the absolute honour of celebrating Emma and Sean’s new beginning as they prepare to welcome their little bundle of joy into the world. Honestly, there’s nothing sweeter than witnessing that glow of excitement and love as two people step into this beautiful new chapter.


We kicked things off at the studio, where Emma got to raid the client closet (which, let’s be honest, is every mama’s dream). After trying on a few options, we landed on two showstoppers: a dreamy blush pink gown and a soft baby blue number—perfectly capturing that mix of softness and anticipation that comes with maternity. She looked stunning, and the gowns gave us two totally different vibes to play with for the shoot.


Once the gowns were chosen, we headed straight to Janelle’s for hair and makeup. And oh. my. goodness. Janelle slayed. Emma looked radiant—like the goddess she is—and seeing her glow just brought everything to life. It was all coming together perfectly.


With hair curled, makeup flawless, and the gowns packed up, we made our way to our shoot location nestled deep in the forest. Nature showed up for us too—the light filtering through the trees, the wildflowers, and that perfect golden hour glow? Chef’s kiss.


We laughed, danced barefoot, twirled in the tall grass, and yes... we got mildly attacked by bugs (because of course, right?!), but it didn’t stop us from creating absolute magic. Sean was so sweet with Emma the whole time—stealing little glances, gently helping with her gown, and making her laugh between shots. You could just feel how excited and in love they both are.


By the end of it all, we were a little tired, a lot bitten, and totally filled up with joy. It was one of those sessions that reminds you just how special these fleeting moments are. That little baby is already so, so loved.


Emma and Sean, thank you for letting me be a small part of your journey. I cannot wait to meet your little one and capture even more memories as your story unfolds 💕
