From maternity to newborn and beyond, documenting Hannah and Dominic’s growing family during their baby boy’s newborn session
Hannah and Dominic first stepped into my studio back in 2024 for their maternity session, followed shortly after by the newborn session of their sweet baby girl. From the very beginning, there was such an ease with them — the kind of connection that makes sessions feel less like work and more like spending time with old friends. So when they reached out again to celebrate their third baby (and their first baby boy!), I won’t lie… I did a little happy dance.
This session flowed so effortlessly. The conversation was natural, warm, and full of laughter — the kind that fills a room and instantly puts everyone at ease. Their toddler was absolutely adorable, curious about everything, watching closely, and popping in with the sweetest little expressions that made my heart melt. And then there was their baby boy… calm, content, and completely at home in every wrap and pose. He melted right into each setup as if he had done this before 🥹
We worked through three thoughtfully styled sets, each one bringing its own mood and softness to the session. But I have to say — the brown and orange combination completely stole my heart. Those warm, earthy tones wrapped around him so beautifully, creating a cozy, timeless feel that just works. It’s one of those color palettes that photographs like a dream and will age so gracefully on their walls and in their albums.
What made this session extra special wasn’t just the images we created — it was the feeling in the room. The quiet moments, the proud glances, the gentle hands, and the undeniable love that has grown with each chapter of their family story. Being trusted to document these milestones, again and again, is something I never take lightly.
